The Benefits of Recruiter Ratings and Reviews for Healthcare Travelers

Written by Megan Bebout | 11/22/21 12:52 PM

Your voice matters and deserves to be heard. Now, Marketplace is making it easier than ever to share your experiences with the capability to rate healthcare staffing recruiters on a five-point star scale, plus the option to include a personalized recruiter review. But what does that mean for professional healthcare travelers?

Ratings and reviews explained

This new Marketplace feature is a win-win for both you as a traveler and for healthcare staffing agencies. With your feedback, agency recruiters can learn what it is that you like and dislike about a healthcare recruiter, agency, and hiring process.

After recruiters complete their own Marketplace profile, travelers can leave a rating and/or review based on their experience working together. In order to submit a review, you must first answer a series of “About me” questions to help Marketplace identify you. If you’d prefer to remain anonymous, there’s an option for that, too. Then, once that step is complete, you’ll have full access to leave a recruiter rating and/or review.

Sometimes there’s not much to say and when that’s the case, rate these six characteristics on a five-star scale, with one star as strongly disagree and five stars as strongly agree:

  • Did the recruiter have the ability to meet my needs?
  • Did my recruiter practice expert communication?
  • Was the recruiter knowledgeable about the industry?
  • Did you feel like you and your recruiter were a strong personality fit?
  • Was the recruiter thoughtful of you, your wants/needs, and your time?
  • Overall, do you feel your recruiter was efficient?

If you’re wondering why it takes time for your review to go live, it’s because all agencies have the option to approve or reject reviews based on their content. If your review is denied, you’ll be notified so you can try again.

Healthcare travelers can check out reviews they’ve already left, as well as new reviews from others by simply browsing a recruiter’s profile.

Benefits of recruiter feedback

Wouldn’t it be great to have a sneak peek of what to expect from a recruiter and travel job? Or to have a space where you can leave general feedback about your own experiences? Well Marketplace delivers to give healthcare travelers what they want.

Marketplace is a traveler-driven platform, and the recruiter ratings and review function takes that another step further. With real-life, real-time access to feedback provided by other travelers, you have the power to decide which recruiter and agency would be the best fit for you before you officially accept a travel job.

As you hunt for your next healthcare job, check out agency ratings and reviews to see if the recruiters have what you’re looking for. With some light reading, you can easily learn if a recruiter checks your boxes and:

  • Is experienced in the healthcare industry
  • Is someone you could get along with on a personal level
  • Will be available when you need them
  • Practices honesty and transparency
  • Organizes effectively

You don’t have time to wait on anyone as a professional healthcare traveler. Take your career into your own hands and benefit from the straight-forward transparency that Marketplace recruiter ratings and reviews have to offer.

Not only do healthcare recruiter ratings and reviews provide more insight into the experience of others, but it also gives you the unique opportunity to share your own thoughts and travel experiences. Good or bad, your submitted review has the power to be seen and used by someone else to determine their own recruiter choice.

For a better idea on how Marketplace recruiter ratings and reviews benefit healthcare travelers, Marketplace user, Courtney, RN, shared her thoughts. Here’s what she had to say:
