The Traveler’s Conference (TravCon) is an annual event with a mission to “serve the needs of travel healthcare professionals through community, knowledge, and inspiration.” Born in 2008, TravCon was created by travelers for traveling nurses, therapists, and all allied health professionals. A safe space to gather, healthcare travel workers can network, learn, and be celebrated together by nationwide staffing agencies, universities, housing services, and other businesses related to the healthcare travel industry.
This once-a-year event allows healthcare travelers and staffing agencies alike to network, learn about the top industry trends, latest technology, new products and services, plus attend educational sessions and be part of a like-minded community.
In fact, 95 percent of TravCon attendees are either current healthcare travelers or new healthcare travel workers in search of their travel company. In previous years, the TravCon breakdown consisted of approximately 80 percent registered nurses (RNs) and 20 percent allied health professionals, including speech language pathologists (SLPs), physical therapists (PTs), occupational therapists (OTs), and other healthcare professionals.
As the largest gathering of healthcare travelers in the U.S., TravCon is the “premier conference for traveling healthcare professionals” and the prime place for more than 1,500 professional healthcare travelers across a variety of fields and specialties to meet the agencies they want to work with.
